I’m a technology and cybersecurity executive with over 30 years of experience, nearly two decades of which I’ve spent leading security strategy and risk management for global enterprises. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving in senior leadership roles at companies like Expedia, DocuSign, OneLogin, U.S. Bank, AT&T Wireless, Cingular and Washington Mutual.
Today, I serve on the boards of LivePerson (NASDAQ: LPSN)—where I chair the Compensation Committee and formerly chaired the Cybersecurity and Technology Risk Committee. I also led the CEO search for our current CEO—BECU (Boeing Employees’ Credit Union), Prisidio, and I’m a board observer at Vouched. I also served on the board of Carbon Black, helping guide the company through its $2.1 billion acquisition by VMware.
As a Venture Partner at Flying Fish Partners, I work with early-stage startups in AI and machine learning. As an angel investor, I focus on technology with a strong focus on backing diverse founders and investing in technologies that serve broader societal needs.
I’m a proud first-generation college graduate with degrees from UC Berkeley (BS Engineering), University of Colorado, Boulder (MS Telecommunications), and Stanford University (MBA). I hold several industry certifications, including CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CRISC, and CIPP/E, and I’m NACD Directorship Certified.
