Strategic Collaborator
In my 25 plus years of work, I’ve leveraged my well-cultivated network that includes leaders in government, business, philanthropy, and healthcare to create positive social impact.

Health Equity Champion
As Chief Advocacy Officer for the nation’s fifth-largest Catholic healthcare system, I provided enterprise-wide leadership to advance healthcare reform, health equity and social justice initiatives for vulnerable populations. My work improved the health and well-being of countless others by addressing a broad range of socio-economic health risk factors. While at the same time, transforming community health standards to promote health equity, access and quality.

Social Policy Change Agent
As a social policy change agent, my proudest moment was being unanimously elected the youngest person and fourth woman to Chairman of the NAACP National Board of Directors in 2010. During my tenure on the Board, I played a significant leadership role in securing ratification and inclusion of healthcare in the organization’s constitution. I also created a mid career leadership development and recruitment program to train and retain a new generation of social justice advocates.

My social impact extends globally, as I built cross-cultural understanding and professional networks with young leaders in China. I was a Young Leaders Fellow for three years with the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. In 2007, I presented before the Italian Parliament on “alleviating global poverty”.  In 2012, I gave testimony before the United Nations Human Rights Commission in Geneva, Switzerland on “safeguarding voting rights in the United States”.

I am a courageous visionary with bifocal perception that aids in aligning policies, programs, practices and people to maximize stakeholder value.

Solutions Driven Strategist
My passion is to apply my results oriented bifocal strategic world view to research and analyze data to craft innovative solutions for complex problems.

My objective is to partner with and engage community influencers and other professionals within the healthcare community, to transform complex socio-economic problems into sustainable health solutions.

My diverse experience in healthcare and dedication to championing equity partnerships is sure to be an asset to an organization.
