Nitin Mathur is a global marketing and digital executive with extensive experience transforming complex global businesses and brands. He is a trusted advisor to boards and executives and an agile leader who is valued for his international perspective and market insights. Nitin has led the development of digital products, services, and customer-centric revenue streams that drive commercial value. As TE Connectivity’s (NYSE: TEL) Industrial Solutions Chief Marketing Officer, Nitin leads the global marketing strategy for the $4B segment. Known as a strategic business partner and collaborative leader, Nitin is responsible for transforming TE’s global go-to-market capabilities and growing revenues with indirect customers. 

Previously, as TE’s first Chief Digital Officer, Nitin developed a global digital, customer experience, CRM, and data analytics strategy under the direct oversight of the CEO and the board. Nitin was instrumental in transforming TE’s customer experience and technology platforms across the sales, marketing, and services organizations. He launched TE’s global e-commerce program, creating the company’s fastest-growing customer acquisition channel, a complex effort requiring collaboration and alignment of eight business units. The digital customer strategy focused on penetrating the small and medium business market in North America, EMEA, and China, drove $500M of digitally influenced revenue and added 50,000 net new customers around the world. 

Nitin is a sought-after thought-leader on global digital, branding, and marketing. He is founding Member of the Adtech India Advisory Board and the Media Brand Summit Advisory Board, and a member of World 50/Digital 50 Group, a private community of senior digital transformation executives. Nitin has been a keynote speaker at industry conferences and educational institutions including B2B Online, Darden Business School (UVA), MMA APAC, CII Brand Summit, FT – Smarter World Summit, and is a frequent commentator in the global business press including BBC, CNBC, CNN, IBN, Campaign Asia, and Marketing Magazine.

A truly global executive, Nitin has lived and worked in India and Singapore where he gained a significant international business perspective. At Yahoo!, Nitin relaunched the brand in APAC, spearheaded Yahoo’s global brand partnership with International Cricket Council (ICC), introduced new local products, services and experiences, and drove significant uplift in brand, consumer, and revenue growth metrics. As a senior global marketing executive at Sapient, he led CRM and analytics function globally, introduced the brand to the Indian market and positioned Sapient as top employer brand in India.

Nitin earned a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) at EMPI Business School, New Delhi, India, and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Economics at the University of Lucknow, UP, India. 

Nitin is an avid traveler, ace table tennis player, and open networker who coaches both early career and seasoned digital professionals. He is passionate about leveraging technology and new ideas to improve customer experience and business outcomes in complex B2B and consumer businesses.
