Biography

Nitin Mathur is a global marketing and digital executive with a successful track record of transforming businesses and brands across the media, technology, manufacturing, consulting, and aviation industries. He has served as a trusted advisor to boards and executives, valued for his international perspective and market insights. He has the proven ability to create customer-centric initiatives that drive commercial value and to build successful global businesses and brands. He is a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in complex environments, leading organizations to higher levels of growth and profitability. 

As Chief Marketing Officer for the Industrial Solutions segment of TE Connectivity (NYSE: TEL), Nitin leads the global marketing strategy for the $4 billion segment. A strategic business partner, he is responsible for transforming the company’s global go-to-market capabilities. Nitin previously served as the company’s first Chief Digital Officer responsible for the global digital strategy as well as customer experience, e-commerce business, global CRM, data analytics, and all related technology platforms. His global digital customer strategy drove $500 million of digitally influenced revenue and more than 20 million visitors to TE.com annually (100% growth over three years). He also developed the strategy and roadmap for entry to the SMB market in North America, EMEA, and China with a five-year goal of adding 40,000 net new customers.

A truly global executive, Nitin has lived and worked in India and Singapore where he gained significant international business perspective. At Yahoo!, Nitin relaunched the Yahoo! brand in APAC, driving significant uplift in all brand and consumer growth metrics. As a senior global marketing executive at Sapient, he introduced the brand to the Indian market, growing awareness by more than 50% in a year. 

Nitin is a Founding Member of the Adtech India Advisory Board and the Media Brand Summit Advisory Board. He is a member of World 50, Digital 50 Group, a private community of senior-most digital transformation executives. Nitin has been a keynote speaker at industry conferences, including MMA APAC, CII Brand Summit, FT – Smarter World Summit, and is an industry spokesperson in the global business press outlets including BBC, CNBC, CNN, IBN, Campaign Asia, and Marketing Magazine.

Nitin earned a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) at EMPI Business School, New Delhi, India, and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Economics at the University of Lucknow, UP, India. 

Nitin is an avid traveler, ace table tennis player, and open networker who coaches both early career and seasoned digital professionals. He is passionate about leveraging technology and new ideas to challenges in education, healthcare, and the environment as means to improve lives and livelihood.
