Maritza Rendon is a communications professional focused on corporate responsibility and reputation. At FleishmanHillard, she works with mission-driven clients in the corporate, foundation and philanthropic space to advance solutions and foster collaboration for a greater impact. Prior to joining FleishmanHillard, she worked at a publicly-owned water and electric utility in Oregon helping with their community and renewable energy communications.
Maritza is part of the Net Impact Leadership Team of the San Francisco Chapter, where she is applying her passion for circular economy, sustainability and social impact. In her role she works with social impact and sustainability experts to drive change in our community by hosting monthly events and managing the organization’s social media channels and strategy.
Maritza graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communications, where she majored in public relations and minored in multimedia. In her time at the University of Oregon, she was the chapter vice president and then president for the UO Public Relations Student Society of America.
