I’ve always believed that the best stories are told at the intersection of tradition and reinvention. As someone who designed my own major in university—blending art history and economic development—I learned early on how to marry creativity and strategy. My journey began with a curiosity about how iconic companies evolve while honoring their heritage, a passion that continues to drive me today. Whether advising Bernard Arnault on acquisitions or helping Burt’s Bees go global, I’ve always been drawn to the human dynamic of finance: uncovering what makes a business thrive and empowering founders to navigate complexity.
Over 35 years, I’ve worn many hats—investment banker, governance expert, operating executive, and entrepreneur whisperer. As the first woman promoted to Managing Director in Credit Suisse’s M&A Group, I launched their global Luxury Goods Investment Banking practice. Later, I founded Elixir Advisors, where I’ve advised on over $35B in transactions, helping visionary leaders like Donna Karan and the Versace family achieve transformational growth. My boardroom experience spans 11 boards, including serving as Chair of Audit and Strategic Finance Committees. I’ve also taken on operating roles, such as CEO of Soap & Glory, where I nearly doubled sales and orchestrated its sale to Boots. My ability to blend analytical rigor with creative problem-solving has been pivotal throughout my career.
As a right-brain and left-brain thinker, I bring a unique perspective to the boardroom—one that balances financial expertise with an appreciation for brand storytelling. I excel at triaging complex challenges, guiding businesses through moments of transformation, and fostering meaningful connections. My vision is future-focused: I aim to help companies innovate while preserving their core identity. Whether collaborating with founders or shaping governance strategies, I strive to build enduring legacies.
