I am an environmental attorney and water policy expert with 30 years of experience working on federal, state, and municipal water issues. As the co-founder and Executive Director of WaterNow Alliance, I lead a nonprofit network of local water decision-makers dedicated to advancing sustainable, climate-resilient, and equitable water solutions across the nation. One of my key initiatives is the Tap into Resilience program, which focuses on upscaling and financing distributed water strategies as a critical pathway to a more equitable and affordable water future.

I also serve as a member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental Financial Advisory Board and recently completed five terms as an elected member of the Marin Water Board of Directors. My previous work includes serving as the California Legislative Director for the Environmental Defense Fund, and I have been honored with the Hero of The Bay Award for my environmental leadership.
