I didn’t start out with a dream of working in financial services—or even in technology. I took an internship at JPMorgan simply because I needed to pay rent. But what I discovered during that internship changed the trajectory of my life. I realized I had both a love and an aptitude for technology—not just for its mechanics, but for its potential to transform businesses, solve complex problems, and create lasting value.
That spark launched a career spanning more than two decades across two of the most complex financial institutions in the world. At JPMorgan Chase, I rose to become COO of Global Technology, leading strategy and transformation for a 45,000-person tech team and a $9B budget. I later joined Wells Fargo, where I served as EVP and Technology COO, and eventually as Chief Administrative Officer for Consumer Lending, a $15B business with over 40,000 employees.
One of my proudest accomplishments came at Wells Fargo, where I was tasked with a seemingly impossible mandate: reduce costs while meeting every regulatory deliverable in a heavily scrutinized environment. My team cut expenses by more than 60%—without missing a single client, risk, or regulatory commitment. That balance of efficiency, integrity, and execution is a hallmark of my leadership.
Throughout my career, I’ve built a reputation for simplifying complexity—whether aligning cross-functional teams, navigating regulatory deadlines, advising boards, or making real-time decisions during crises. I bring clarity and calm to high-stakes environments and help teams move forward with structure and confidence.
What sets me apart is my ability to lead through ambiguity. I’ve had to make urgent decisions in crisis situations, often with incomplete data and competing demands—deciding not just what to do, but how and when to communicate with regulators and the board. That instinct has been honed through lived experience.
My leadership style is grounded in empathy and precision. I grew up in a household where tension was common and resources were limited. That upbringing taught me how to read people—tone, body language, and what’s left unsaid. It’s made me an effective leader not because I’m always agreeable, but because I know how to build trust, motivate teams, and drive toward shared purpose.
I’m deeply committed to building diverse teams—across demographics, thinking styles, and problem-solving approaches. I’ve seen firsthand how inclusive leadership drives stronger, more sustainable outcomes. That belief is both personal and pragmatic.
As I look ahead to the next chapter, I’m focused on corporate board service—especially with organizations that value operational clarity, sound risk oversight, transformation leadership, and culture stewardship. I’ve brought these strengths to nonprofit boards and am ready to contribute the same enterprise experience, strategic judgment, and human-centered leadership to the boardroom.
Above all, I focus on outcomes that matter—and that last. I’m ready to help organizations navigate what’s next with clarity, discipline, and integrity.
