I am passionate about helping people and companies thrive @ work. My financial services experience spans banking, wealth management, insurance (life & health and P&C), and asset management. To create meaningful change, I have helped organizations architect and lead through significant strategic shifts, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Blending my corporate background with my consulting practice has afforded me a broad perspective across geographies, cultures, and industries, and to work across all sectors, from public to private, from for-profit to not-for-profit, and from start-ups to Fortune 500s.
Board Director
I have held board Director positions with TD Insurance, Allstate Insurance Company, National General Insurance, and Esurance. I was a Trustee of the Allstate Foundation, a member of Allstate’s Enterprise Risk & Return, Capital Deployment, Strategy, and Investment Committees, and Chair of the Allstate Pension & 401k Committees. I am currently a Board Member for Rebelle Media and a member of the Global Council for the 2023 Commonwealth Study Conference.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Champion
I have been honored with personal recognition on the “Hot List” from HR Director Magazine and as a Diversity Champion from Women of Influence. I was selected as a Canadian delegate for the Duke Of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference hosted by India. I have been sought out for my perspective on various topics, such as leadership talent and employee engagement strategies, the future of work, and creating cultures and work environments that work for everyone.
Contribution to Society
Giving back to the community has been a long-held passion. I was a founding member of the United Way of Peel’s Women in Leadership Council, a board member for The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, a business mentor with Civic Action, and played leadership roles in selecting delegates for the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conferences. I am also a former Board Chair for the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC).
