My career has revolved around patient care and teaching, all geared towards improving lives. My positive relationships with trainees and patients are at the core of my practice.
As an instructor and mentor, I strive to pass on my knowledge and inspire a thirst for lifelong learning and personal growth. One of my principal goals is to increase the number of women and under-represented minorities in healthcare, particularly in radiology. This begins by encouraging young students to pursue careers in STEM fields.
As a patient-facing radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging, I am an advocate for making a difference in the lives of patients, ensuring each one receives compassionate care and the necessary information for informed healthcare decisions. My commitment extends beyond the clinic, blogging and speaking about women’s breast health in order to encourage women to prioritize mammography.
My overarching mission is to work towards achieving health equity for all, breaking down barriers and disparities in healthcare. My aim is to incorporate different perspectives in order to find more inclusive solutions and then ensure that they are implemented. By fostering diversity of thought, promoting education, and building strong patient relationships, I strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those I serve.
