My passion for communication with authenticity and connection started as a musician and it has interwoven itself into what I do today as a communication artist. Telling stories that delve into the human experience and making business resonate with their audience makes me tick.

After shifting from the music world, working with nonprofits was a natural fit. Every job has deepened the way I do communications. With every experience, I found authentic storytelling became the most important way to connect and share.

The ones I am most proud of- fundraising for the beautiful stained-glass windows at New York City’s Marble Collegiate Church where people from around the world come to visit and enjoy.  A memorable evening event where an opera company from South Africa was celebrated for its innovative spirit by coming together for the love of singing and rising from the tumult of their AIDS-ravaged city to create something beautiful.  A faith-based podcast that examined sensitive topics like what the faith communities are doing to help halt sex-trafficking, and bringing Muslim, Christian, and Jewish leaders into a room for deep discussion. Hustling up content for 33 social media channels that showcased young entrepreneurs and followed their yearlong progress as they pitched their hearts out at a shark tank like a national competition where the winner took all. And the many satisfying websites refreshes in between.

Outside the office, I am still connected to the music world through the oldest musical performing charity, The Blue Hill Troupe. Writing stories for big and little kids and trying to ride a scooter as well as my 6 and 3-year olds.
